Seize the Moment – Day 1257
Today’s song focus will be
Raise a Hallelujah
James 1:2-4 (NASB95)
“Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing
that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its
perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.”
While facing both their two year old son, Jaxon, and their four year old daughter, Addie, battling an E coli infection, Bethel Music’s CEO Joel and Janie Taylor were at a point where they were totally drained, emotionally, physically and spiritually.
But they said they could feel the prayers from around the world for their family. Their friends, Jonathan David and Melissa Helser, were interceding in prayer when God gave them this song. They shared it with the Taylor family and they made it
Their anthem, seeing both their children improve and receive their healing.
I’m gonna sing, in the middle of the storm Louder and louder,
you’re gonna hear my praises roar, Up from the ashes, hope will arise
Death is defeated, the King is alive!
We need to wake up and realize that worship is a powerful weapon against the forces of the enemy. We need to raise up our voices in praise over doubt, fear and unbelief and see God bring the victory.

Raise a Hallelujah
I raise a hallelujah
In the presence of my enemies
I raise a hallelujah
Louder than the unbelief
I raise a hallelujah
My weapon is a melody
I raise a hallelujah
Heaven comes to fight for me
I’m gonna sing in the middle of the storm
Louder and louder, you’re gonna hear my praises roar
Up from the ashes hope will arise
Death is defeated, the King is alive
I raise a hallelujah
With everything inside of me
I raise a hallelujah
I will watch the darkness flee
I raise a hallelujah
In the middle of the mystery
I raise a hallelujah
Fear, you lost your hold on me
I’m gonna sing in the middle of the storm
Louder and louder, you’re gonna hear my praises roar
Up from the ashes hope will arise
Death is defeated, the King is alive
Sing a little louder
Sing a little louder
Sing a little louder
Sing a little louder
Sing a little louder
Sing a little louder
Sing a little louder
Oh, sing a little louder
Sing a little louder
In the presence of my enemies
Sing a little louder
Louder than the unbelief
Sing a little louder
My weapon is a melody
Sing a little louder
Heaven comes to fight for me
Sing a little louder
I’m gonna sing in the middle of the storm
Louder and louder, you’re gonna hear my praises roar
Up from the ashes hope will arise
Death is defeated, the King is alive
I’m gonna sing in the middle of the storm
Louder and louder, you’re gonna hear my praises roar
Up from the ashes hope will arise
Death is defeated, the King is alive
I raise a hallelujah (hallelujah)
I raise a hallelujah (I raise my hallelujah)
I raise a hallelujah (I raise my hallelujah)
I raise a hallelujah
